A Quick And Easy Survey

Would you like to do a quick survey?

No?

Not even if it’s been put together with my new survey software?  😉

Yep, this is a demo of my new script that you can use to bang out surveys in no time flat.  Unlike some scripts I’ve used which are horribly complicated, the Instant Survey Script is designed to be easy to use.

You can also actually embed surveys created with the Instant Survey Script inside other pages like this one.

But not today as I want you to see what a survey looks like on a page all on its own.

So with that thought follow the link below to fill in a very short survey of just 4 questions, and after you’ve completed it, you can immediately see the survey results.  Just bookmark the results page to see them as they’re updated.

Shell Shock And Focus

This last week or so, I’ve been suffering increasingly from a lack of focus, and I think I’m actually a bit shell shocked.  😉

I know this has happened to you too because it happens to everybody.

The answer is to take a deep breath and prioritise.  Even that’s not always possible, and sometimes lots of things come to a head all at the same time.  Like this last few days.

So…

#1 – It looks like SmartDD v3 (SDD) is just about ready to be unleashed onto the world.  There’s just the massive task of documentation and re-doing the site.  Oh okay, we have several installers to build too, the free version, the full version, and an upgrade version.

#2 – I’ve just received the latest version of the Instant Survey Script (ISS) – yeah I’ve kept that one fairly quiet, but it rocks.  Easy to install and use, and something everyone with an internet business should have.  It has a couple of nice features in it that lift it above similar scripts and services.  And of course it will be a fraction of the price, especially to you my lovely readers.  😉

I have to install that tonight and give it a whirl.

#3 – I have a new version of AdSpurt (AS) to install with a very nice new feature in that I think is completely unique, but I have been completely wrong before, so we’ll see.  Both David and Paul have worked on this one, and Paul is now looking to see if he can sort out a memory problem on some servers.

When we have that licked we’ll be ready to go.  Again, I’ll install it later today to check it out, then build a new licenced version and send it out to the people who have a test copy.

I won’t be releasing AdSpurt in a nickel sale as I think it’s a little bit special, but I will be doing a discounted pre-launch price, probably $47, but don’t hold me to that.

#4 I have JV Manager 1 installed on my server, but I’m having real problems working out how it works.  I reckon I’m 95% of the way there, and I think it’s just terminology that’s confused me.

If you’re an expert on JV Manager 1 and want to set up a couple of dummy products / sites for me so I can see how it’s done, you can have everything I release for the next 12 months.

And I have some great scripts coming for your internet business…

Project APE.
Site Flow Manager.
CMS Anywhere.

Plus a host of smaller items in between.

So if this appeals to you and you really know what you’re doing with JV Manager, raise a support ticket at:-

addressed to me.  If you have some example sites you’ve put together yourself that I can see just to put my mind at ease, then please include those too.  😉

#5 I have a new JV Manager.  She’s agreed to work for me, and I know she’s a real go-getter, and if anyone can pull in lots of new JV partners, she can.  With a background in sales, I’ve already seen her ability to get people to agree, and that’s one of her real strengths.

We’ll eventually turn her efforts into a product and we’ll be sharing all the little tips and wrinkles she uses to make the sales.  What could be better than an inside look at how to find and convert potential JV partners?

Do You Have a Network Of Sites?

We’re getting close to completion of AdSpurt, and I wonder if you could help me?

I need 2 or 3 people that have a network of sites or self-hosted blogs which they’re monetising using AdSense.

What I need you to do is install AdSpurt on a site or two, create a few contextual ads, and see how using that method stacks up against AdSense.  You can either run AdSpurt ads as well as AdSense, or turn off AdSense and just run your own AdSpurt ads.

If you’re interested in doing this, then raise a support ticket at:-

http://www.vendiva.com/support/

under department AdSpurt, with details of the site(s) you intend to install AdSpurt on.

Ideally you would already know of products with affiliate programs that you could promote via AdSpurt on your site, via ClickBank or otherwise.  AdSpurt can be used with any affiliate program and also has a built in ClickBank search functionality to make it easy for you to generate ClickBank ads.

We know there are a few changes needed to be made, but any feedback you can give on usage, potential tweaks or amendments would be great.

Other Scripts Coming In 2008

Going on from my post yesterday about AdSpurt, I thought I’d mention a couple of other things we’re working on for your internet business.

I don’t want to give the game away entirely, but one is a script that will turn affiliate marketing on its head. I am totally convinced that this product will shake the entire marketing world to its core, and the whole landscape of blog and forum marketing will change forever.

Good or bad? I don’t know. I’ll just be making the gun, other people will be firing it.  (Okay, I’ll fire it a bit too.  More than a bit in fact.)

Here’s a double warning though, just for you, a (hopefully loyal) reader of this blog.

#1 – If you haven’t created your first product yet, just GO and get your act together and get yourself sorted okay?

I don’t care if you don’t know where to start with creating your first product or what it will be about, just get your thinking cap on right now and remember there’s nothing new under the sun.  Just because someone else has already done it doesn’t mean you can’t do it too.

Otherwise we’d have one kind of car, one kind of pen, one kind of shirt and so on… It’s all the different flavours of the world that makes things interesting, so add your own flavour and style to the mix.

#2 – And if you don’t yet have a blog like this one that you post to regularly, GO and sort that out too.

Do NOT be tempted to use Blogger or BlogSpot or any other free blogging service, you WILL regret it. It should be a self-hosted blog (ideally WordPress), and if you don’t know where to start, post a comment here and I’ll put something together for you to show you how to do it, what plugins to use etc.

You’ll see that script in use here on this site within the next month or so.

The second script has been in the making since 2001, and is a full blown Content Management System (CMS) with a difference.

Instead of having loads of crappy little features that no-one but a geek would be interested in, this is written with YOU in mind. It’s been designed for online business owners to run their internet business through.

It’s already in use on several different WORKING sites in test (the site owners don’t realise what they’ve got because they haven’t been told), and I’ll soon be adding it to the Vendiva.com site and using it as the platform to run my own internet business.

So I guarantee you it will be kick-ass when we release it towards the end of the year.

As well as those two major scripts, there are some other nice little projects and products that I’ll be releasing soon too, so keep your eyes peeled.

(The next script released after AdSpurt will likely be the Instant Survey Script.)

PLR For SmartDD LITE

I’ve been considering for a while now about releasing Private Label Rights (PLR) for SmartDD LITE. I had a chat with Paul Freedman (the developer) about it and he’s agreed.

His provisos are that we only sell 10 PLR licences and that they’re $300 each.

Just so that you understand the value of this offer, the code for sale has regularly earned us $2,000 / month in profit with some months peaking at $4,000.

I’ve got some additional provisos to the two I agreed with Paul:-

#1 – You can’t use the name SmartDD, and you can’t associate either me or Paul with the product. To all intents and purposes it’s as if you created it from scratch. This will mean you have to remove all instances of the name SmartDD and our names from the code and documentation.

#2 – You can create as many derivatives of it as you like, and develop the code into larger applications. You must tell us what these are as you create and launch each one. We just want to keep an eye on what’s being done with the licences for your protection and to protect the value of the code.

#3 – You can sell Resale Rights (RR) or Master Resale Rights (MRR) to your newly named derivatives, but not Private Label Rights (PLR). Again this is to maintain the value of your purchase.

You can use the code as if you’d had it developed yourself, and we recommend you get yourself a developer from Scriptlance or Elance or similar to change the appearance. We don’t think it would cost you more than $50-$100 to do this, as the appearance is all held in style sheets. Change the style sheets and you’ll completely change the appearance of your software.

You’ll also get the raw Open Office text document to use as a base for your own PDF docs, and again you’ll have to remove all references to SmartDD / LITE and our names.

Okay that’s it. I’ll set up a page early next week where you can purchase PLR for SmartDD LITE and then let you know where it is here on this blog. The first 10 people to buy get a copy, everyone else will have their money refunded.
