MORE Templates for the Page Template Plugin

Don’t miss this one.

We’ve all been busy here at this end prepping a big pile of sales and squeeze page templates to work with the latest version of the Page Template Plugin (PTP).  We’re almost done and another few days and they should all be up to date.

In case you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about, the PTP allows you to select a page design that’s completely different in appearance to the rest of your blog.  The sales page templates are probably the most flexible as you can use them not just for sales pages, but as designs you can use to highlight special offers on products you may be promoting as an affiliate.

By default WordPress doesn’t allow you to do that, but that’s something the PTP fixes.

As we complete the conversions we’ll add more and more to the PTP web site – there’s a nice selection of examples on there already.

Then when we’re ready and we make the site live, then each individual template will cost a very reasonable $7 apiece.  You can pick and choose and at that price it won’t hurt anybody’s pocket.

But before I do that, I’m releasing some bundle packs of five templates at a time for just $10 total per pack which is a substantial saving over the full price of the individual templates and will give you that extra bit of choice when you want to add some unique looking pages to your blogs.

The first sale of these additional templates starts today at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST) for just $10 and for just 48 hours.

The templates themselves are being converted right now and will be available later today, but you can see 60% screenshot images of each of the templates on offer below.

    Hi Frank,

The templates look great – looked for the Page Template Plugin but can’t find it?

Is it part of the template system or a plugin sold previuosly that I missed?

    Cheers

    Mike

      Hi Mike,

The Page Template Plugin is free and always will be. When we’ve completed conversion of all the templates and I’m happy with it, I’m going to add it to the WordPress repository together with a couple each of example sales and squeeze page templates. The plugin (v1.0.4) will come with these sales page packs. :-)

SO can I use these templates even on any wordpress theme? For example Thesis?

OH, and do I need the PTP to use these templates? If so, where do I get them?

    • Frank Haywood says:

      Hi Chuck,

      Yes. Scary isn’t it?

The Page Template Plugin is what most people really want but they end up buying a theme just to create a sales page. The plugin comes with the templates.

You are always trying to find a faster and easier way of doing things. I emphasize e-a-s-y. I put in some wish list requests awhile back. My dream is one day you are the one to fulfill those requests. Thanks for the hard work Frank.

    Hey Frank,

None of the templates in the bundle are squeeze pages, am I right?

If will be great if the plugin allows us to select different elements/structure of the page…so if we don’t need the product box up top, we can leave it out…etc?

    Thanks!

    • Frank Haywood says:

      Hi TW,

Yes these are all sales pages so are quite flexible. Because you use [short-code-tags] to place the box elements on the page, then if you don’t want to show testimonials or a certificate, or you want to move them around then you can.

      It’s pretty damn cool.

There’s a video here that explains that.

    Frank,

I have to say that this is the easiest and quickest method of putting a sales page online – thanks – I have just sacked an outsourcer :)

Can’t wait to see the next ones

    Cheers

      Hi Mike,

Whoops! It wasn’t my intention that anyone would get fired, but yeah when it’s this easy why hire other people to do it? ;-)

  6. TW says:

Thx for the video show & tell, it’s a very smart approach!

I see the sales page designs. Is there a squeeze page design to use or do we plug in the code of our own autoresponder in the flow of the page?

    Best.

    • Frank Haywood says:

      Hi TW,

Yes there are squeeze pages too, but not in this pack. When I add the plugin to the WordPress repository there’ll be a couple of examples of both sales and squeeze pages included. Some time in the next few days.

      -Frank

  7. TW says:

    Hi Frank,

I see. So if i pick up the templates now, would that include the squeeze page templates?

    Cheers

    • Frank Haywood says:

      Hi TW,

It doesn’t in this pack but when I place the plugin in the repository, I *will* put a couple of example squeeze (and sales) pages in there with it so you’ll be able to get them from there.

      -Frank

  8. TW says:

    Hi Frank,

Since we’re different time zone, I went ahead and got it before hearing your reply.

Look forward to your answer above.

    Cheers!
