Multiple Streams Theme 007

Offer Closed

***

Today Friday 6th January at 6.00pm I’m running a final pre-release sale for Multiple Streams Themes Seven.

If you purchased this earlier last year in a pre-order sale, I sincerely apologise for the delay.  You can now go back to your personal download page and grab it plus pick up a little bonus I promised to those who pre-ordered and then ended up waiting a loooong time for it.

I finally (!) managed to get the original designer of the theme to do the conversion (after 2 attempts by others) and he’s done a great job of it.

He’s actually come up with a better method of adding a slider to the front of the blog under the header, and in fact it’s so nice now that I’ve made plans for where to use it myself on one of my sales sites.

I just have to bundle it all up with PSDs, banners etc and it’s ready to go.

Speaking of which, it comes with a nice selection of pre-designed banners including blank JPEGs / PNGs and PSDs for them, plus umpteen sidebars, an additional page template, plus plugins (Ads Manager, Redirection, Squeeze Page Templates), and a set of theme options too.

The theme options allow you to turn on and off the featured content and top boxes and change footer text. The theme also supports the WP 3.x features of custom menus.  And finally, we’ve included a really nice slider area at the top under the menu where you can place presentational images, extra ads etc.

You can place content including an image into the slider simply by making a new post and then putting it into a category called “featured”.  The theme will then pick up the first part of the text of the post and place it in the slider area – it’s really cool.

If you want to add an image as part of the content of the slider, then you can use the built in WordPress “Featured Image” functionality just by editing the post and clicking “Set Featured Image”.  You can then upload or choose an image from the library just as you would when adding any image to WordPress.

If you use an image with a transparent background then it will cleanly overlay and merge with the bacground of the theme.

It’s amazingly simple to do and the results are stunning.

I’m going to use it as a showcase on one of my own sites, so watch out for that shortly.

Today at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST), I’m running a final 25 copies only sale for MST007 available for just $10.

(I’m also re-opening Affiliate Click Pal this weekend for those people who’ve written to me to say they missed it last week because they were away.  Fair enough.  I’ve made another 10 copies available and that will close when they’re gone.)

In the meantime you can see the MST007 theme in action here:-

PLR Membership Re-opening

Update: The PLR membership is now OPEN and is currently $27.00/month until I reach my target number of subscribers. At that point I'll increase it to the regular price of $47.00

You can get to the sales page here:-

http://www.plahh.com/

***

Tomorrow (Thursday) I’ll be re-opening my PLR membership at a temporary reduced price, and I’ll reveal that price now.  It’s just $27 a month for PLR to TWO product sets.

Or put another way, it works out as $13.50 each…  😉

But that price is only valid until I fill up my remaining slots to make the membership viable for me to continue to run.  (It’s been touch and go.)

Each month you’ll get PLR to 5 sales page designs, PLUS additional PLR to either a WordPress plugin or theme, or a PHP script or other program, or a special report or video set created by me.

It’s a pretty good deal.

Just the five sales pages alone are worth your membership.

Ask anyone.  If you were to pay to have ONE sales page created for yourself, they’d cost you $47-$97 depending on who did them for you, and all you’d get back is the design with uneditable PNG or JPEG files.

With the ones we supply you get Private Label Rights to the entire pack of 5, PLUS all the PhotoShop PSD source files.  In addition we make sure there are no hard-coded text in graphics (wherever possible) and in the few cases there are, we also supply blank JPEGs or PNGs so you can use your favourite graphics editor to add your own text.

Okay?

As for the cost of developing the WordPress plugins and themes, you’re talking anything from five hundred to two thousand dollars and upwards – go find out for yourself.  So I think it’s fair to say that every month you’re getting between $750 to $2000 worth of products you can rebrand and call your own.

At the special relaunch price of $27 it’s not just a good deal it’s a smoking deal!

***

First I’d like to give you a bit of background about the membership.  I opened it in November last year, and everything went fine until about March when my one and only designer took an office job in Singapore.  He still does some part time work for me.

Then I had to fire one of my plugin developers as he was supposedly working full time for me and (when he slipped up) we found out he was also working “full time” for one of my friends.  (No wonder he was getting slower and slower…)

This left me with a full time plugin developer and a part time designer.

And then to make matters worse, my remaining developer decided to go look for an office job too and also went part time in June.

While this was all going on I just couldn’t find the right people to fill the gaps left behind and from April until now I’ve been struggling to fulfill the promise of 2 monthly PLR products as part of the membership.

It even got to the stage last month where I’d just about decided to close up shop on the membership as I couldn’t see how I could continue to deliver products like I had been – I’m certainly not a designer or a plugin developer.

And then out of the blue I picked up two new designers, one of whom can create WordPress themes.  Hurrah!

I then (by accident) found a part timer who is now in training to become my full time PA and Project Manager in March 2012.

But the icing on the cake is I also found a new full time coder, AND just this week my part time developer has increased her weekly hours to almost full time.

Suddenly I have a full set of staff and that makes the membership viable again.  And I also have enough “give” in there to make sure that if someone leaves then the membership won’t suffer like it has this year.

***

To kick off the relaunch of the membership with a bang tomorrow, I’m adding in some extras.  So instead of you joining and getting one month’s worth of products, I’m including a few more bits and pieces too.

The current product set is for August, but I’ve left July’s active too.  September’s will be ready next week.

So when you join tomorrow, you not only get July and August’s membership products, you’ll also get September’s too when I add it in a few days time.

That’s THREE months worth of membership in this first month.  (For existing members I’ll put something else in so you don’t feel left out.)

Forget pretty good, forget smoking, this is a RED HOT deal.

But ONLY when you join tomorrow at just $27 / month.

When I fill the minimum membership slots I need, then the price goes back up.

I’ll give you some additional details tomorrow and re-open the membership at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST).

Coffee, Plugins, and a New Theme (mst009)

Special Offer Closed

The theme is now available for $27.00 until it goes officially live.

***

You may have noticed my slight absence recently – maybe not – I’ve been on a coffee fuelled race testing the affiliate scheme, prepping all the PLAhh stuff I’m delinquent on (I now have the PSDs  hurrah, it’s a miracle!), running a few test WSOs (I’ll share the results soon) and generally getting sites into a state where I can open them at last.

I’m usually quite busy, but it’s nothing compared to what I’ve been doing this last two weeks and I’m a little bit hyper right now as I gradually discharge some of my outstanding responsibilities.  Thanks for your patience with me, I’m really grateful for that, and I’ll publicly explain what’s been going on soon.

Anyway…

While we’re STILL waiting for MST007 to be completed (you may already know the sorry tale about this, but I’ve MORE to tell soon) the original designer has just about completed MST009.

As usual it’s really nice (my wife wants this one on a blog she’s putting together with a friend), and I think I might end up using this one on the PluginGreat site.  Notably, he’s gone for a different slider routine that auto-adjusts itself depending on how deep the image is.

This means that instead of being stuck with a fixed depth slider, you can now make your images as deep or as shallow as you like to suit both your taste and your blog.

When this sale is over, this theme will be the first one I’ll put on sale on the MST web site.

(Yes, at last I’ll be doing that too.  It’s ALL happening at once…)

Now then.  When I make it live, I’ll put it on sale for $27 and add the others as I go, but in this pre-launch sale it will be available to the first FIFTY customers for just $10.

Okay, so what’s it look like and what features will it have?

First, here’s a screenshot, middle click it for a slightly larger version.  What you can’t see in these shots is there’s a very nice crosshatch effect on the background:-

[br]

With this theme, you get ALL the nice pro-blogger stuff that the MSTs are becoming known for…

It comes with a good selection of pre-designed banners including blank JPEGs / PNGs and PSDs for them, plus umpteen sidebars, plugins (Ads Manager, Redirection, Squeeze Page Templates), and a set of theme options too.

The theme options allow you to turn on and off the slider, top boxes and top and bottom ad areas, change footer text and add analytics code if you don’t have the Script Manager plugin.  The theme as standard now also supports the WP 3.x features of custom menus and backgrounds.

It’s all done, I’m just waiting for my designer to upload the final version, hopefully tonight (Wednesday).

***

In the meantime…

The fifty-copies-only-at-$10 pre-launch sale for MST Nine will go live on Friday 29th right here at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST).

(I reckon it’s worth $10 just for the editable banner ads, let alone everything else.  You’d pay over $100 for these on Banners Mall.)

🙂

*Phew!*

-Frank Haywood

P.S.  My designer is, in this order:-

o Completing this theme.
o Retrofitting MST008 with the slider.
o Completing MST007 – I’ll explain all about this shortly.

New Multiple Streams Theme (mst007)

Offer Closed

Update: Go back to your download page and pick up the theme!  🙂

Update:  The person doing the conversion has disappeared, but my regular guy is going to pick this up right after some other work.  It will probably take another week to 10 days.  So as an “I’m sorry” I’ve decided to extend PLR rights out to everyone who bought in the pre-order sale.

If you purchased, check your email for details.  there’s other good news about the image slider in there.

***

While we’re all waiting for the first version of Affiliate Click Pal to be officially released in the next few days, I thought we’d have another pre-order sale – this one for Multiple Streams Theme Seven (MST007).

Pre-order sales I’ve run in the past seem to be very popular, (especially so in the case of Affiliate Click Pal) so I’m continuing that tradition. 😉

Now you might be thinking to yourself “Hang on, didn’t I just get MST Eight a month ago? And this is now Seven?”

Well, yeah… There’s someone else been working on MST007 – actually two other people at different times – but that’s another story. It just needs to be said that Seven will probably be completed by Wednesday or Thursday next week.

At that time it will go on sale for $27, but in this PRE-ORDER sale it will be available to the first FIFTY customers for just $10.

Okay, what’s it look like and what features will it have?

[Middle click the image below to open in a new tab.]

As usual, it comes with a nice selection of pre-designed banners including blank JPEGs / PNGs and PSDs for them, plus umpteen sidebars, a selection of built in page templates, plus plugins (Ads Manager, Redirection, Squeeze Page Templates), and a set of theme options too.

The theme options allow you to turn on and off the header, top boxes and top and bottom ad areas, change footer text and add analytics code if you don’t have the Script Manager plugin. The theme also supports the WP 3.x features of custom menus and backgrounds.

And finally, we’ve included a slider area at the top under the menu where you can place presentational images, extra ads etc.

I know that in the image it looks like a carousel, but that’s an “artists impression” if you like and should be taken with a pinch of salt. I admit the design looks really cool, and if we can include a carousel style rotating image that will be great, but more likely is it will be a slider.

Here’s something interesting. (Oh come on, it’s ALL interesting.) 😉

While looking at carousels, we came across a jquery slider that looks really good, and I think we want to move to this.

(In case you didn’t know, jquery is much better to use than Flash as the CPU load is waaay lower, and that means that people using older slower machines will get the same experience as someone using a brand new one. Not so with Flash. Anyway, back to the plot…)

This jquery slider we found will slide images, text AND videos. Aha!

Now we think THAT would be something that a LOT of people would find very useful.

And the especially interesting thing to me is because it’s jquery, any text and links in the text parts of the slider will be picked up by the search engines. You can’t do that with Flash.

So what I’m now thinking is that if it all turns out to be good, we’ll move to this new jquery script and “retro-fit” MST008 with this slider instead of the original.

This is all TBC at the moment, but we’ll know in the next few days if we can do this.

One last thing.

WordPress Authors In Google Search

Just before sending this out, Ron M (hi Ron) sent me some info about author images that Google are implementing in search. (In fact they seem to have a LOT of new social stuff coming in at the moment, which ultimately means bye bye FaceBook.)

Please be patient if we can’t get this in for v1 of this new theme. It’s brand spanking new, announced today (June 30th) by Google.

What this new feature in search does is it displays an author image next to the search result in Google if the right tags are implemented within the theme. WordPress 3.2 will include full support for this.

Now you might be wondering why this is so important. It’s simple.

Tests have proven that people are more likely to bond or accept a page or site if a photo of the author/owner is displayed. I have one on my own site for that very reason.

Google are now offering to display a photo even before people get to the site.

That WILL improve click throughs.

Think about it. All of Googles search results are plain text apart from videos. Anything that highlights a post such as a thumbnail photo is going to make it stand out from the rest.

And it’s free.

As long as you get the right tags in the right place, AND you have a Google profile, your photo will show next it. I think it’s probably worth the one-off effort to get this sorted for yourself. I’ll be getting mine online in the next few days.

We’re not totally sure just yet as to how this works exactly, and if we can implement this in the theme before release, we will. I REALLY want this feature included, and if we can’t get it out for v1, we’ll add it in an update.

In the meantime…

The fifty copies only at $10 PRE-ORDER sale for MST Seven will go live tomorrow at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST).

New Multiple Streams Theme – MST008

Update 6th July 2011:

The videos for this theme have *finally* been completed and you can see them here:-

http://multiplestreamsthemes.com/videos/mst008-videos/

Update 22nd June 2011:

MST008 has been updated to v 1.0.1 due to an easy to fix but annoying bug…

Some people may have been having a “headers already sent” problem with this theme. We didn’t see this on our test bed, so maybe the server(s) we’re using are more forgiving than others. It happens when some spaces or blank lines get inserted into a PHP file where they shouldn’t be.

Happily, WordPress know about this issue, and there’s an explanation of it here if you ever come across it yourself.

Just go back to your personal download page and grab the latest version, we’re sorry about any inconvenience.

Update: I’m sorry for the delay, the theme and plugin bundle is now available. There were a number of small issues I had with the theme, now all resolved. Please go back to your personal download page and you can grab it from there. 🙂

The latest in the Multiple Streams Themes (MST008) is now *almost* complete, and on Friday 26th May at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST) I’ll be running a 48-hour 50-copies-only PRE-ORDER sale at $10.00.

It comes with a nice selection of pre-designed banners including blank JPEGs and PSDs for them, plus umpteen sidebars, a selection of built in page templates, plus plugins (Ads Manager, Redirection, Squeeze Page Templates), and a set of theme options too.

The theme options allow you to turn on and off the header, top boxes and top and bottom ad areas, change footer text and add analytics code if you don’t have the Script Manager plugin.

And of course the theme supports the common WP 3.x features of custom menus, and background. That second one allows you to further lighten the feel of the theme or darken it down if that’s your preference.

And… after several requests we’ve added an extra “ad sidebar” at the top, so instead of the usual 3 ad blocks for sign ups, freebies, etc, there are now FOUR.

And finally, we’ve included a slider area at the top under the menu where you can place presentational images, extra ads etc.

It’s really nice, very businessey, probably the most professional looking theme so far… 😉

More on this tomorrow, but just in case you’re thinking “Hang on! I’ve bought all of them – what happened to MST007?” Well, someone else is working on that one, so they’ve got a bit out of order. When it’s done I’ll release it don’t worry. 😉

For now, MST008 isn’t quite ready as I’ve asked for a couple of under-the-hood changes and I’m expecting to get it in the next few days.

You can get a sneak preview of the theme here:-

http://mst008.multiplestreamsthemes.com/

The pre-order sale starts tomorrow at 6.00pm BST (British Summer Time, which is GMT+1).
