Magic Fonts Plugin for WordPress

Update: The sale for the super-duper Magic Fonts plugin is live at just $10.00.

***

Included as part of this sale is full developer licence, and even BETTER a LIMITED RESALE RIGHTS licence too! That means YOU can sell the plugin and documentation, but your buyers can’t.

Including resale rights is an experiment because I like to try these things.  😉

Anyway…

This plugin hooks into the Google Web Fonts API and allows you to…

Display any of the 600+ Google Web Fonts
in your posts and pages.

AND it also gives you some pre-defined CSS styles to spruce your text up even further.

AND you can also still use the built in TinyMCE editor effects to add bold, italic, underline, change the font colours and so on.

The combination of the three means you can create some eye-popping text effects on your blogs to call attention to your special offers or other important content.

Okay I could explain this here all day, but the best thing to do is go look at the example page and the video that shows you how the plugin works.

You’re going to love it!  🙂

The sale starts today 7th November at 6.00pm GMT, and you can do one of two things.

#1 – Be one of the first 25 people to get the plugin at the starting price of $12.50.

#2Join the Plugin Great Membership and get AT LEAST two new plugins, themes or scripts every month for one fixed price that won’t hurt your pocket.

In reality, as I release so many products and also run weekend sales the chances are high that you’ll get 3 new products per month in the membership.

As I write this I have four other plugins almost ready for release with several more in various stages of development all of which I’d like to release before the end of the year.

Becoming a member is the perfect way to never miss out on a product release of mine again.

And it’s cheaper too.  😉

Hi Anwar,

I took a look at the Google Web Fonts page and noticed a “Script” drop-down bottom left, but it doesn’t show Arabic as an option so it looks like there are no Arabic web fonts. 🙁

However, I had a little experiment and found that you can safely apply the pre-defined styles to Arabic and it works just like it does on Latin scripts. You can see my test here by scrolling down to the bottom.

Hi Anwar,

I’ve been digging around a little and found this page:-

http://www.google.com/fonts/earlyaccess

It looks like Google have plans to integrate these in with their service, but they’re not yet part of the Fonts API.

Hi Frank,

I really appreciate your nice efforts.
And I am sure this plugin will help me a lot..

Thanks

Bought It..

Thanks

Hi Frank,
Can we choose to assign a font to Hn tags ?
Cheers

Frank Haywood

Hi Patrick,

No, but what a VERY good idea. I have plans to add some more pre-made styles as I found some crackers last night that could easily be integrated, so I’ll see if we can do some global overriding of HTML tags too – no promises as I don’t know if it can be done yet. 🙂

Thanks Frank,

Bought it and look forward to test it out.
Take care / Lars

Hi Frank,
I’ve been banging my head against the wall trying to get Google Fonts on my blog WITHOUT having to edit some files. I only found one plugin that was promising, but it had no documentation and I can’t read minds, so I’m so glad you came out with Magic Fonts. I’ve already got it setup on my test blog and it looks great.

Hi Frank!

With Resell Rights, can I use the plugin only for resell? Or I can give away to build a list or put my name on the plugin.
Can you tell me how it works?

Thanks

Ronaldo

With the resell rights license what price are we obligated or not obligated to sell at. Thanks

Hi Frank!

Thanks

Ronaldo
