MORE Templates for the Page Template Plugin

Offer Closed

***

Don’t miss this one.

We’ve all been busy here at this end prepping a big pile of sales and squeeze page templates to work with the latest version of the Page Template Plugin (PTP).  We’re almost done and another few days and they should all be up to date.

In case you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about, the PTP allows you to select a page design that’s completely different in appearance to the rest of your blog.  The sales page templates are probably the most flexible as you can use them not just for sales pages, but as designs you can use to highlight special offers on products you may be promoting as an affiliate.

By default WordPress doesn’t allow you to do that, but that’s something the PTP fixes.

As we complete the conversions we’ll add more and more to the PTP web site – there’s a nice selection of examples on there already.

Then when we’re ready and we make the site live, then each individual template will cost a very reasonable $7 apiece.  You can pick and choose and at that price it won’t hurt anybody’s pocket.

But before I do that, I’m releasing some bundle packs of five templates at a time for just $10 total per pack which is a substantial saving over the full price of the individual templates and will give you that extra bit of choice when you want to add some unique looking pages to your blogs.

The first sale of these additional templates starts today at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST) for just $10 and for just 48 hours.

The templates themselves are being converted right now and will be available later today, but you can see 60% screenshot images of each of the templates on offer below.

o Multiple Streams Themes TEN
o TEN Sales and Squeeze Page Templates and plugin
o THREE Bonus Plugins

Every time I release a new WordPress theme bundle, I do my best to make it even better than the last one.

We do, we learn, we make better.  🙂

This latest theme is chock full of our learning and the package we’ve put together is the best ever.  If you miss this, you’ll kick yourself when it’s too late.

Here’s a reduced size image of the theme, you can click it for a larger (60% of full size) image, or better still you can go see the theme in all it’s glory here:-

Note the careful use of pastel colours – isn’t it gorgeous?

There’s just too much packed into this to adequately describe it all – all I can do here is give you a flavour of it.

To celebrate the pre-release of our tenth theme, I’m also including TEN new page templates – FIVE brand new SALES page designs and FIVE brand new SQUEEZE page designs.

You can see 60% of full size images of the templates on the following links:-

All of them come as HTML as well as in WordPress Page Template Plugin format (v1.0.4).

In case you didn’t know, the Page Template Plugin is another step towards turning any WordPress blog into a total marketing machine.  It enables you to add sales and squeeze pages to your WordPress blogs that survive theme updates and changes.  Just upload the plugin and activate, and then upload the templates – it’s a doddle.

BUT…

I’m only releasing these BONUS templates as part of this pre-launch sale.

(When the inital sale is over then they’ll only be available separately and will join the others on the Page Template Plugin site at $7 apiece.)

As well as the bonus templates in this sale, you also get THREE BONUS plugins, Comment Reward, Ads Manager and Redirection.

A quick feature rundown of the theme bundle includes:-

o Custom Drop-down Menus.
o Options to globally hide or display sections of your site just by checking and unchecking boxes.
o Options to add footer text such as a footer menu and copyright content.
o Options to add site analytics code if you don’t already own the Scripts Manager plugin.
o Multiple page template styles.
o LOTS of sidebars (widgetised areas).
o 5 NEW sales page templates powered by the Page Template Plugin.
o 5 NEW squeeze page templates powered by the Page Template Plugin.
o Ads Manager plugin.
o Redirection plugin.
o Comment Reward plugin.

Okay?

Madness I know to include all this, but what the heck.  😉

The sale starts Wednesday 18th at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST) with the first 50 copies at just $10.00 – unbeatable value I’m sure you’ll agree.

The pricing works like this:-

1-50 = $10.00
51-100 = $12.50
100-??? = $17.00
Site live = $27.00 but no bonus templates and no plugins.

See you Wednesday at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST) – don’t get here too late and miss out on the lowest price.

I’ll drop you a line to remind you before the sale.  😉

Updates and a Question

Updates

#1 – There’s a new fully fixed and working version of the Page Template Plugin available if you have it – v1.0.4.  Just nip back to your personal download page and re-download it from there.  I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but it now seems to work on all the servers we’ve tested it on and not just half of them.  Ahem.

A modified version of that bundle will be available as a WSO shortly with 100% commissions, so watch for my email about that.

In case you don’t know what the Page Template Plugin is or does, it allows you to easily set up sales and squeeze pages on WordPress.  Just activate, select a template, fill in the blanks and write some copy.  It couldn’t be easier.

#2 – Shortcode SEO is now ready if you missed my email the other day.  Again go back to your personal download page for that product and snag it from there.  Had some VERY positive comments back on it so it will almost certainly end up as a WSO.

The plugin does two things – a) allows you to create shortcodes containing HTML, PHP, javascript that you can place in your posts, pages and widgets, and b) optionally adds any meta name data to the header of your pages that to my knowledge no other plugin does.

It’s VERY flexible in the way it does its thing.

#3 – The weekend “twofer” plugin sale is still live until Tuesday.  Both plugins are SEO related and at $10 for the pair it’s a snip.  You can pick that up from here.

Question

From time to time (average 2-4 weeks?) I’ll promote third party products that I think are truly worth getting.  I buy a lot of stuff and most of it is sub-par so you never get to hear about it from me.  I also DON’T buy a lot of stuff because I’ve learned to spot the stinkers a mile away (don’t get me started).

I’ve noticed that there’s most interest in tools and lesser interest in educational products (ebooks, videos, courses).  I guess it’s not that big a surprise when you consider what I do and the mailing lists I’ve built that I get a better response for scripts plugins and themes.

But I sometimes find a really good educational product that I want to share but because of the poor response I get I’m not sure if I should continue to do that or only tell you about useful tools.

Some people find these tip offs really useful.

The bottom line is I don’t want to bug anyone with things they’re not interested in.

You see my quandary?

(I’ve been experimenting with various ideas for updating subscribers outside of email, and one that I’ve considered is something I’m not sure would appeal.)

So my question is should I continue to promote educational products too, or just stick to plugins, scripts and themes?

AddToAny Killed My Site

…and I’m glad it did.

I found a totally blank screen when trying to view this blog 30 minutes ago, so I did CTRL-U in FireFox and straight away saw that the screen stopped being drawn when it reached the AddToAny section of the page.  I disabled the plugin and my blog was back.

Then I did a little digging.

It turns out that in January 2012 AddToAny implemented tracking code into their plugin for marketing companies (media6degrees and Lockerz) and I didn’t know because they didn’t tell anyone.

Because my blog failed today (maybe the AddToAny tracking server went down), I did the research and I found out what was going on.  AddToAny is now gone from all my blogs never to return.

How many blog owners are still using this, totally oblivious to the fact their visitors are being tracked by marketing companies?  Well maybe a lot less after today if they spotted their blog dead and followed the same path I did.

Consider yourself warned.

P.S.  I have a feeling this may be illegal under EU law.  Maybe someone who knows more about this than me can comment?

20 Minutes A Day…

I just saw this, got excited and thought of you…  😉

Here’s the story.

My eldest lad is almost 15 and is now getting interested in what he’s going to do with his future (apart from girls).

He’s quite passionate about the path he’s choosing and he’s been asking advice from me on how to approach it, and of course I’ve told him I’d help and get involved.  He doesn’t want to work for someone else – he wants to run his own business.

More on that another time.

Anyway…  I’ve been keeping an eye out, and while chatting with an online friend about this, he told me he thought he knew exactly what would help and recommended it to me as being a great process whether you’re just getting started or been round the block a few times.

I bought a copy (which I’ve just finished reading through) and I totally agree with him.  It actually ties in with some of what I already do and in fact I think this is a much better way of approaching it.  It’s a really good process and is perfect for what my eldest needs to give him some direction.

But it isn’t just perfect for my teenage son, this is perfect for you and me too.

I recommend you go grab a copy – at only $9 it’s worth every penny and it’s had excellent reviews.  I also have to say I really like the two guys behind this, they clearly know their stuff.

The only warning I’ll give you is that it does require some effort on your part – you don’t get something for nothing – they reckon about 20 minutes a day after the initial set up.  It’s EASY work once you get into the routine and it’s enjoyable too.

And the rewards for that effort are handsome if you follow their plan.

Go get your copy, read through it and then tell me I’m right.  😉
