Will do. It’s a bigger deal so it will probably have to be a series of short videos, with a big chunk cut out while waiting for the OS installation to complete as there’s little point in showing that part. Just getting it all started should do, but even that’s quite easy to do too.

Frank, can you tell us the benefits of using Quick Screen Share versus Skype which I currently use to share screens? Thanks.

If you have a premium version of Skype, you can share both your screen and your webcam at the same time through your Skype call. If not, then you can do either a video call, or a screen sharing session but not both together. Also with the free version of Skype screen sharing, you’re not be able to give control of your screen to the other person and vice versa. I’m not sure if you can with the premium version.
You can sidestep those limitations by starting up a Skype video call and then using Quick Screen Share to share your screen too. If it’s going the other way and you’re helping someone out, then you can view their screen and ask them for permission to take control so you can show them how to perform a task on their machine.
It’s the next best thing to sitting next to them. 🙂
